Getting to Budapest (Hungary) or to Vienna (Austria):
Of course you are free to organize your holiday before and/or after the bike-tour on your own, as well as the voyage to the starting point and from the final destination of the tour.
Hungary is located in the Middle of Europe, it is very easy and convinient to reach us. You can travel to us by plane, train, bus or by car. If requested, we gladly send you a detailed route description how to get to the hotel in Budapest or in Vienna.

2.) In case of arrivals by plane or by train we recommend you taxi-transfers between the airport/station and our contractual hotel (approximately) for the following prices:

Prices are per car (max 4 adults + luggage).
To and from (return) costs the double of these.
In case of the pre-booked airport transfers we have to apply 0,50,- EUR per minute surcharge, starting after 15 minutes in case of a of flight delay. The amount of the surcharge has to be paid on spot in cash to the guide (EURO or HUF).
* Attention! In case of your arrival at the airport in BUDAPEST (HUNGARY) we recommend you to use the fast and good-working shuttle buses (Airport Minibus Service) to/from Airport Ferihegy 1 & 2 instead of the transfers offered by us. Because of the enormously increased passenger-traffic the normal “cheerfulness” is history. You can apply at the information or at their own desk of the “Airport-Minibus-Service”. The small buses leave at every 10-15 minutes. The actual transfer-price is 3.000,- HUF at the moment (= approx. EURO 13,-) per person / journey (respectively per transfer). The above mentioned data are partially valid for the return transfer, too, with the note that besides the shuttlebus transfers you can also order normal taxi transfers at the given hotel reception. In any case a previous price-negotiation is important, because the unreliable taxi drivers always con the well-intentioned holidaymakers with extra-high prices.
In case of arrival at VIENNA (AUSTRIA) airport the different transfer-possibilities can be arranged independently without problems. In case you wish to order transfers through us by all means, our helpful team is at your service with pleasure, as up to the present.
3. ) Arrival by Car: For most of the tourists the fastest way is via Munich/Passau and Linz through Vienna. The highway between Vienna and Budapest (dist.: 153 miles/245 km) was already completed many years ago. This way you can drive ”from Hamburg via Munich or Passau to Budapest” solely on highways.
